Snap-in dentures, also called overdentures, use two dental implants in the lower arch to improve retention. They are a cost effective alternative to traditional dentures, which have minimal retention and rely on denture adhesive “glue”.

In our experience, upper snap-in dentures often do not provide enough additional benefit to justify the investment, so we typically recommend either a well-designed traditional upper denture or fixed implant-supported teeth instead.
